Privacy policy

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Wager Compass AU handles information when you read this independent educational website. This site is not TAB, Tabcorp, a wagering provider or an account service.

2. Information entered on the site

The self-check works entirely inside your browser. Answers are not transmitted, saved to an account or added to a database. The age confirmation control does not save or transmit the visitor’s response. The site does not ask for your name, wagering credentials, financial information or identity documents.

3. Technical information

The hosting provider may process standard technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time and security logs. This information may be required to deliver pages, maintain availability and prevent abuse. Wager Compass AU does not use it to build gambling profiles.

4. External websites

Links to ACMA, BetStop, Gambling Help Online and other external services take you to websites governed by their own privacy policies. No personal information is sent by this site simply because an external link is displayed.

5. Children

This publication concerns wagering and is intended only for people aged 18 or over. It is not designed to collect information from minors.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated when the site’s functionality or hosting arrangements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
